This is a hidden gem of a Festival. Ullapool maybe better know for its music festivities at least on a national level for LOOPALLU with all the Radio 2 Radio 1 and Radio Scotland coverage and house hold names like PAOLO NUTINI, MAGIC NUMBERS, IDLEWILD and TURINBRAKES, playing this year.

However Ullapools unofficial title of Scotland's Village of Music, as well as September for Loopallu, is evenly deserved as much for the fact any time of the year you'll find venues open with live music happening. but particularly in October for The Ullapool Guitar Festival.

For over 10 years now, the Festival has payed host and become a favourite destination for all of the worlds greatest guitarist in all genres, in turn, turning up to add to the homley atomosphere. As well as an annual destination for a growing army of six string enthusiasts. With up-close work shops, intimate concerts and informal late night festival club appearances. It really is a feast for the discerning music fan in one of the worlds beauty spot destination.
