I got to be there when Bobby's Idle Hour (Music Rows only live music venue) invited Libby Koch and Chuck Hawthorne to Nashville, they invited some of their friends (as did I) These are some of the shenanigans that ensued. Nashville 23 24 Feb 2017
I got to meet music row legend Bil Vorndick! Bil produced Libbys last album and came down for the show Libby performs Gram Parsons "Grievous Angel" with Patterson Barrett .
Bil VornDick’s artistry as a producer and engineer has helped earn his clients over 45 Grammy nominations that encompass 9 that won (among them Alison Krauss’ very first Grammy). He has worked on many albums during his 40 years in music. These include projects for such other Grammy recipients as Ralph Stanley, Marty Robbins, Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Mark O’Connor and jazz bassist Charlie Haden, as well as for legendary troubadour Jesse Winchester and bluegrass empress Rhonda Vincent. His credits appear on No. 1 albums in 5 different musical genres.
Then Bil offered to give me the guided tour the next day and was as good as his word, sure enough he pulled up in his Lincoln Continental asked me in and proceed to show me how Nashville became Music City and his considerable part in that process.
