The Medicine Show was recently on tour with the first couple of Texan Music Chuck Hawthorne and Libby Koch.
We did 35 dates in 33 days in Scotland, England & Ireland, 3 festivals, 3 House Concerts, a cafe, 2 Art Center Theatre's, 10 clubs, 9 pubs, 6 Radio Stations.
Every gig had something very special about it but nothing on the tour was more special than hooking up with the great Ralph McLean for a McLean's Country BBC Radio Ulster session, Ralph drove in from the coast on his day off to meet us off the Ferry from Scotland in Belfast.
Ralph is, apart from being a great broadcaster and keeper of the light for our kind of music and local live music in Ulster, is one of the rare breed of broadcasters on the National Networks that supports independently minded musician, independent venues and house concerts actively on his weekly BBC Ulster shows, we talk about all of that here, across the continent and in the states and he features two live songs from Libby and Chuck.
Here is our session it is 35 Minutes in after Tim O'Brien http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b091vswq
