Food from the local farmer’s field, beer brewed round the corner and music from both sides of the pond...
What is it?
This unique event, in its second year, is a celebration of American roots music presenting musical performances, workshops and dance across three stages indoors and out.
Where is it?
Nestled deep in the heart of pastoral Suffolk, the event is set amongst historic farm buildings in the idyllic setting of the Easton Farm Park, near Woodbridge.
Who is appearing?
From the USA: EVE SELIS, RACHEL HARRINGTON,
DREW NELSON, AL PERKINS' BIG DOG 3, OTIS GIBBS, GAIL DAVIES, CHRIS SCRUGGS, GROANBOX, BRIGITTE DEMEYER and Hawaiian performer KEHAU KEHANANUI.
From Canada: ALANA LEVANDOSKI, CARA LUFT and HUGH MCMILLAN.
From the UK: THE HOFNERS, ANGE & THE WAGON BAND, THE HALEY SISTERS, BJ COLE, ROD CLEMENTS, THE TOY HEARTS and TWO FINGERS OF FIREWATER.
And from Natal, South Africa: THE YOUNG ZULU WARRIORS GOSPEL CHOIR.
This year’s programme will also include the premier screening of the film “The Peasants are Revolting” which documents one man’s nightmarish struggle against fear and predjudice in order to stage a roots music festival in a sleepy English village.
