Back in November of last year I posted on Beat Surrender details of a couple of EP's released by Richmond VA band Exebelle & The Rusted Cavalcade and mentioned a third was in the works, well it's complete now, entitled Vivement l'Automne! it's a case of saving the best to last as this one is the strongest of the trio of EP's, seven tracks of first class Americana from a group of musicians who have really found their stride and draw on a range of influences to create their own sound, equally at home with the foot tapping goodness of Rosasharn through the rambling story telling of Born Older this is a thoroughly enjoyable listen, sandwiched in the middle of the album wonderful harmonies and atmospherics on my favourite track Lithium Smile.
The EP's your's in it's entirety for an incredible $3, listen and buy at Bandcamp
