Featured Artists of the week!! The David Latto Band

When The New Madrids, Perth's masters of Transatlantic Country Soul added the guitar and vocal of Ian Hutchison they hit on the rock edge that has made them one of the best live bands to emerge from Scotland in recent years .

The CD "Through The Heart Of Town", was listed in the R2 Magazines top 3 of 2014 .

They love to break the show down and play acoustic listening rooms too.

Watch out for them at Festivals all over Europe this summer, including the headline spot at our home Festival - Americana Cavalcade at Perth Racecourse which is part of the Gold Cup Weekend - June 6th 2015.

Young Coogan who, I believe resides in Seattle is a fine talent has an ability to stamp a feel to a song with her beautiful, sometimes aching tones. She carves out imagery of the finest order. A… Continue

CHRIS COOK (REMEMBERING —TREE O RECORDS)

www.chriscookmusic.com

North Carolina native Chris Cook is one fine live performer, as those lucky enough to catch him on his recent tour (much of it spent in and around the Scottish Borders and beyond) will vouch. But it takes listening in the comfort of your home for you to fully realise just how wonderful an all-round musician—he plays a mean guitar and harmonica Cook really is. Remembering is the… Continue

MARY GAUTHIER —THE FOUNDLING (Proper Records)

Louisiana-raised singer-songwriter, Mary Gauthier peals back the veneer on this release. As not for the first time she draws on her troubled life that started with her abandoned as a child.

...in Scotland, England and France

Kenny Butterill is bringing his smooth, mellow, laid back shows to Europe on his first international tour of his acclaimed “Troubadour Tales” CD.   Over 100 DJs, Music Editors and Reviewers across Europe can’t be wrong when they compare him to JJ Cale, Gordon Lightfoot and John Prine.  “Like his albums, Butterill's live show has the warm ambience of an intimate setting…

Guitarist, Songwriter/Singer Chuck LeMonds booking gigs in the UK & Scotland between July 1st & July 12th 2015!

Hello,

My name is Chuck LeMonds.  I will be doing concerts in the UK for the first time in the first two weeks of July 2015. I will be traveling with an old musical partner from Austria, Klaus Ambrosch, who is an exceptional electric guitar player.

I am currently working on the 10th album of my songs.  My 9th album "The Rivers Call" released in 2013, received some (I'm happy to say) very fine reviews in the UK from music journalists. (See…

The Diamond Family Archive UK psych folk artist looking for house shows.

Hello,

I'm touring in Germany in May 2015 and am looking for some house shows. I'm touring with one other musician and we're happy to play stripped down acoustic, minimal electronics sets or full sets with drum kit (brushes). Live, we have an interesting set-up where we both play more than one instrument (at the same time) and use old keyboards and shruti boxes to create drones.

We have a few empty dates in our schedule…

Wednesday 29th April Holland.

Monday 4th…
