Michael Weston King is just about the busiest man in folk and roll and has been for more than 20 years, cutting his own deep rootsy unashamedly (for a UK artist) Americana furrow since before "Americana" was the designated label for… Continue

Ok: fair warning to you guys, I'm coming at this as someone with pretty sparing acquaintance with the blues; I have fits of enthusiasm but it's never become an all-embracing thing for me somehow. As far as I get it though any blues worth its salt has to have a sense of being… Continue
Coming from San Francisco's Bay Area, it seems only right and fitting that Forest Sun's music should be of a relaxed and sunny disposition. He generally plays gigs with just himself, his acoustic guitar and his sidekick Ingrid Serban to provide the sweetest backing vocals. For this… Continue
At long last I have the album completed, its taken 4.5 years!
There are 13 tracks which were written and recorded while living in the Highlands and then moving to Glasgow and the songs relate to this period through the ups and downs of normality.

A second album from Grinderman now a defined band emerging out of the Black Seeds considerable shadow with some aplomb, as Nick, Warren, Martyn & Jim try to cast off that particular musical baggage.
However its conceived and received on mass, the songs of Grinderman and as always with Mr Cave, are awash in an atmosphere of surreal unrelenting malevolence.
"My Baby Calls me The Loch Ness Monster, Two Great Big Hummps… Continue
