Milagro Saints are releasing their 8th album “Chance & Circumstance” on Raleigh N.C.’s Moon Caravan label. The album has been recorded over the last several months by Nashville producer/session musician, Jick wins-Low, at his home studio in Carrboro, N.C. S.D. Ineson, lead singer-songwriter, acoustic guitarist says:“The Saints have a hybrid sound evolving out of the fact that I am an English-born transplant to the States (brought over by NYC’s TVT Records as part of the English Pop/Rock group The Jack Rubies). I have always been drawn to the ‘exotic’ otherness of America, its big landscapes and the mixed-up geneology of its musical history. I tend to cross different genres and write a diversity of material. Its my take on “Americana”- a poetic-folk-roots/rock hybrid.
In the current music situation, bands we relate to and admire are Railroad Earth, Donna The Buffalo, Calexico, because they (and we) focus on well-defined songs but can also stretch out and jam at leisure. We have eight band members, who can all solo like banshees, so the musical possibilities are endless!” band members are:
Lee Kirby Hammond organ, Piano, Accordian, Melodion, Blues Harp.
Roberto Morales Electric guitar, Twang guitar, Electric Mandolin Smitty Cosmic Lap Steel
Rusty May Drums
Steve Samosky Bass
Joyce Bowden a Singer/multi-instrumentalist who has previously
worked with Tom Tom Club, Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads)

and Duet Voices.
Jick wins-Low Produced, and Recorded everything, also provided extra Bass, Drums, Percussion, Trombone, Violin,a 12 string guitar solo and Vocal Harmonies!.
