Bio
Combining 60s psychedelia, folk noir, post-rock, neoclassical and darkwave, The Mad Pride creates progressive melancholia. Haunting and ominous like Syd Barrett and David Bowie collaborating on a Tim Burton film soundtrack. Comparisons are often made to Shawn Phillips, Tom Waits, Midlake, Grizzly Bear, Frank Zappa, Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen.
