When more is always better...

What happens when your co-host is away for a few days and your left all on your lonesome? well, you fill the gaps with as much music as possible and more is always better, especially when it coincided with the receiving of a couple of great c.d.s courtesy of the medicine man. The Red Beet record stable boasts some great performers and on East Nashville vol.3 there's more than enough to tick a wide variety of tastes. Music and more music...

Even in the most modern of ages not everything works out as you would have it. Last week on 'Americano' our show was shut off because of a large power cut which affected about a thousand homes in Banff, who said the '70's were dead? What was most amusing was that John Parsons had just returned for his first show since arriving back from Minnesotta, the cut happened just after his welcome back and coincided with him pulling a plug on his side of the studio, our faces were a picture as everything… Continue

Making Introductions...

Many thanks for having me as a member at the FSR, it's going to be a great opportunity for me to be introduced to the many independent artists that can get under the radar. For the past year and a half myself and John Parsons have hosted a two hour program on Deveron FM, a local radio station on the N.E. coast of Scotland. hi Robin - nice to hear from a mutual friend - Neil certainly does bring folk together basically a very generous man and an excellent musician.do hope we can meet at some future gig? we have some ideas in the pipeline for music get together but moving slowly.
