Ricko Donovan's Lucky Sevens is a powerful record that is being touted as a bridge between Americana and Celtic music. What sets him apart is his incredible package- a virtuosity at multiple instruments, a unique vocal delivery, and a gift for penning songs that resonate long after they’re heard. These songs need to be heard. A singer songwriter who won Nashville's Song Spree Contest for Devil At My Door in the alt country category, Ricko spent the ensuing years abroad in Spain and Ireland. Playing regularly alongside such legendary Irish musicians as Christy Barry and Charlie Piggot of De Danaan, he honed his craft at the hammered dulcimer. The result can be heard on The Laughing Silver String, a new CD of traditional Irish music featuring the hammered dulcimer with other traditional instruments. Along his journeys he continued to write songs that culminated in The Kilmoon Road, an album Irish Folk Magazine called, "A rollercoaster ride…haunting and visceral, a powerful new voice in Irish folk." Ricko Donovan now regularly tours the US and Europe.

Great to have you on board. Keep the pure, thrilled to see you cover Irish music. I am a huge fan of Ireland, the people, music and the countryside and go over twice a year. Good luck with your music.
