JERRY LEE LEWIS –TOGETHER * LIVE AT THE INTERNATIONAL, LAS VEGAS * IN LOVING MEMORIES – THE JERRY LEE GOSPEL ALBUM * KEEPS ROCKIN’ (BGO Records) 2 CDs

www.bgo-records.com Four LPs on two cds make great value, especially when you take it into account you not only have the ‘killer’ Jerry Lee Lewis but also his sister, Linda Gail Lewis. Linda when asked, performed good ol’ southern country soul (and gospel) and the sass to go with it! Such is the chemistry between the siblings I am prompted to question why didn’t they do more together. Or why didn’t Jerry Lee record more duets? When it came to singing a…See More

DONALD BYRON WHEATLEY —MOONDOGS AND MAD DOGS (Maiden Voyage)

www.maidenvoyage.netImmediately I placed this cd on my player I was energised by Donald Byron Wheatley’s music. Fuelled by a rock solid rhythm section, piano, swirling organ, lead guitar and pedal steel guitar (BJ Cole), there is a buzz throughout. On welding slices of 1970s sounds of The…See More

REVEREND PEYTON’S BIG DAMN BAND —FRONT PORCH SESSIONS (Thirst Tigers)

One of the most noticeable aspects of Rev Peyton and his Big Damn Band’s music is the high intensity as the band and the Reverend lay down a selection of big-bodied, raw country blues. Powered by restless slide guitar the listener is drenched in honest as the day is long country…

Hi Maurice,
You did a great review of us a few months back. I've got a new CD coming out, 14 new songs, and I want to send this to you. http://www.reverbnation.com/davidwilliamssongs has four new songs from the album, to be released in two weeks. Having never been to England or Europe, I'm very interested in touring. Do you have any insights into booking agents? Please drop me a line, and I'll get something in the mail to you asap. Thanks! Thanks Maurice. How do I send you a CD to review? It's called Shooting Star by my band Saloon Dogs. I can send a physical one or MP3s in a drop box.

Also, I'd like to put myself forward as a CD reviewer.

Thanks
